Hi, My husband has died last December 2025, he was very ill for 2 years, becoming much worse as time went on. We were married for 50 years. Since his death I have lost all confidence, I’m unable to do anything. For some unknown reason all my close family has disappeared , no one comes near by, all friends seemed to have vanished also.
Hi. I understand how you are feeling. After the shock of my loss I thought family and friends would be there for me. I am really suprised how quickly they have disappeared. The ones I thought I could have depended have gone but others have amazed me with their care. Its a strange world we find ourselves in,a real learning curve.
Its one hour at a time atthe start of this journey.So sorry for your loss.

The people here are a friendly bunch, there are some very wise people who I am sure would help with any questions or worries that you have.
My husband died suddenly 8 months ago, it’s a scary time for us all.
I think the same happens to a lot of us. The people we thought would be there for us just disappear. As time passes I think they then feel awkward, maybe we have to be the ones to reach out.
We do what we have to to get through this awful time. If someone is important to you make the first move. I’ve given people two chances, if they still don’t bother then I’m done but one has turned into such a help.
