Awww bless you Stumpy, i am 21 weeks into this lonely awful journey. The only advice i have is eat when and whatever you can . Take 1hr 1 day at a time. And be kind to yourself.

Hiya all i can say is i lost my bestie husband dad grandad 14 months ago …been together since 18 till 48 …crazy bit it does get a little better right now im so much better but 14 months

Hiya Stumpy , i got a little puppy who is now 6 months. So I have to get up each morning as she needs feeding etc. Then i make myself do something each day ie washing ironi g cleaning whatever, in the beginning i did nothing but its not what Gra would want, so I try and I talk to him in ny head and iut loud. We have to do whatever we can to get through.

Hiya Sunset thats a long time, i was with Gra just over 19 years married almost 16. He was my second husband . I was with my first just over 5 years married 3 he died of a dvt. At 36.

This was our second marriage,we were married after 4 months of meeting,we were married for 31 years.
He wanted to get another dog because our westie was poorly,we have a 6 month old puppy,but i just don’t feel like getting out of bed in the morning,but know i have to.

Bless i treasure the happiness i hold him close in my heart, No Millie thats my puppy is no compensate for Gra butbi needed a purpose . Something anything to close the lonilness just a little .

We lost our westie a couple of weeks ago she was 15,then hubby passed on Friday just gone,then we lost our 23 year old cat Friday evening,cannot take much more grief.

I know that feeling bless you I loss Gra 16th june , then i lost my little yorkshire Terrier Bobby who was 13 yr old exactly a week later. Awful isnt it. I feel for you truly i do.

It’s an eye opener how many people have lost loved pets around the time of losing their loved one. How strange x

It is Mrsc I believe Bobby went to find his dad . He was all for my husband and he spoilt him rotten
