I’ve just lost my dad.
It wasn’t expected.
He was the last parent i had alive.
I lived with him and was his carer when he struggled.
I just feel very lonely.
My sister is on holiday and isn’t bothered by any of it and my brother hadn’t been in contact for 12 years and hasn’t responded to my message. I don’t blame him they didn’t get on.

I’m part of the Online Community team and I can see that you are new to the community - I’d like to thank you for bravely starting this thread and sharing how you are feeling lonely. I’m so sorry to hear about your Dad. Most community members have sadly experienced the death of a loved one and so will understand some of what you are going through.

I lost my mum two weeks ago after dad passed 7 years ago. Im struggling too. Although I didn’t live locally my heart is broken
