Loss of my daughter to suicide

I lost my daughter 12/4/2019 to suicide. Everyday since has not been the same. I miss her so much. There is this overwhelming feeling of restlessness I have that never goes away. Life has lost so much meaning.

Hello @Cmmosley77,

I can see that you’re new to the community. I hope you find it to be a support to you, but I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter that brings you here.

You say that nothing has felt the same since she died, that you’re living with a constant feeling of restlessness, and that life has lost much of its meaning. It sounds like things have been incredibly painful for you since her loss, and that you’re missing her deeply.

It looks like you’re based in Texas. I wanted to let you know there is lots of other support out there. Given how difficult things sound for you at the moment, I would really encourage you to reach out to someone for additional support if you feel able to. The following website might help you find support services closer to home: https://help.befrienders.org/

You might also want to explore our Online Bereavement Support, where you find our Grief Guide self-help platform and online bereavement information.

Thank you again for sharing - please keep reaching out and know that you are not alone.

Take care,

Harriet

Hello, I’m so sorry for the loss of your daughter. I lost my son in the same way two years ago, so I understand some of the pain you’re feeling. Nothing feels the way it used to, and I often feel as though I’m just passing time until I meet my son again in heaven. Sending you love and hugs  :people_hugging: :people_hugging:
