My wife passed away in October 2018 and I’m finding it very hard this is the first time I have been in touch with anyone outside of family

I am sorry for the loss of your wife ,although this site is full of a collective sadness,i have found it to be a great comfort after my husband passed.We sometimes like to protect our family from how we really are struggling or handling our emotions and thoughts ,this site is a good place ,as everyone understands the grief and everything it can throw at us,we can learn a lot from others.There are many gentlemen on here who have also sadly lost their wives and i’m sure they will help.It is so hard,and your grief is personal to you,but you can share your thoughts here,it may help to write them down.Take care x
