Losing a partner

I wrote this poem after i lost my partner Ray I hope you like it.

                                 LOSS

I cannot tell you of the loneliness I feel
I only know it is very real
I have lost the reason to just be
Now I need to find ME.

Thank you Ell it came from the heart when I was newly bereaved.

I’ve never written poetry but I felt the need to write something personal to be read at my husband’s funeral. It just summed up what I was feeling at that time.
