The loss of my best friend, my Mum. It hasn’t quite been 2 full months yet since she passed but it feels like forever, my Heart is truly broken!
Hi I lost my mum on 11th December and I too am totally devastated and heartbroken. I still cry most days and think about her all the time. It was so unexpected for us as my mum was a fit and healthy 81 year old who lived independently. My sister and I took her on a mini break to Spain when she fell and broke her hip out there. We spent 2 awful weeks in a Spanish hospital and then on returning to the UK she was admitted to our local hospital where she sadly developed pneumonia and passed away 11 days later. Words cannot describe the pain we feel and we are finding it so hard to carry on without her. Totally broken hearted
