Hi my name is Cheryl and I lost my daughter on the 21st of February 2022. Unexpectedly. She was 21. I’m so lost. I have an elder daughter too. But I’m really struggling. It don’t feel right when we have family gatherings as my daughter is no longer here.

I lost my daughter on 29th May 2022. I found her dead in bed. Pathologist can’t find any cause of death. I feel your pain. I have one other child…a younger son.

I’m so sorry your daughter has passed away . It’s such early days for you. I unfortunately know the excruciating you are in. Please be gentle with yourself take one day at a time ask for help if you need it , lean on the people you love and trust . I contacted the Compassionate Friends about 8 months after my daughter died and they saved me from taking my own life, she will be gone 4yrs in December.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my daughter in January. I thought she was sleeping and then when I checked her she was dead. My heart goes out to you. This place helps and, l also have had lots of help from Compassionate Friends. They really have made a big difference on this awful grieving journey. Be kind to yourself if you can.
