I lost my partner in August and I am finding it hard
Hello Eileen, I am so sorry for your loss and I know how difficult it is in the early times of loss. August is not very long and you will be on a βroller coasterβ of emotions . This forum is very good as people understand and you can say exactly how you are feeling and not be judged . All I can say is try and look after yourself ,as Iβm sure that is what your husband would want you to do , take each day as it comesβ¦β¦..baby steps !!
Take care Linda
Thank you very much I start my counselling on Monday i miss him so much xx
I think the counselling will help you to try and process it all , I am hoping to start in the New Year. I know how you feel I miss Kevin so much too such a special man

Bless you how long has Kevin been gone sending love and hugs to you
xx
April 14th so 7 months now . We were due to go away the next day and he passed way next to me in my car , fortunately I was driving. A fit healthy 63 year old , the coroners could find no reason so the death was recorded as SADS , just heartbreaking ![]()
We had only been together just over 3 years so robbed of a future too .
Did your partner pass suddenly ?
Colin had lung cancer we were together 8 years came out of hospital on 8th and died on the 19th he wanted to die at home xxx
That is nice Colin got his wish to be at home , so you did not have much time ![]()
Like me you have had a future snatched away, it I awful to feel this way xx
I just feel lost and heartbroken

I agree we are lucky to have our children and grandchildren as some people have no one which is very sad . I agree Christmas is looming and will be difficult as we will miss our loved ones so much
We just keep taking a day at a time and hope it will get easier to live with xx
