A lost loved one cannot be replaced.
There is not one thing or person that can fill the void that is left.
In time you will learn to live with it.
That’s all you can do.
But, no matter what, regardless of the time that goes by:
You will still love them.
You will still miss them.
You will still wish that they were here.
Love does not end.
That’s why grief doesn’t either.

I feel the same. I talk to him during the day and tell him about the Euros. I had been his carer after strokes then care home against our will.
