Hi all I recently lost my darling Robert 3 month ago
We both loved northern soul and we had fantastic nights out , now he has gone to the soul clouds eventually I would love to start going to them again but other than the people we knew when we went out I have no “dancing” friends (ladies)
I wondered if anyone out there who live in the Yorkshire area who also loved the soul scene would eventually like to meet up for nights out
I know this sounds weird asking considering you are all still grieving as am I but I just thought it would be nice to make new friends and look at getting back to some normal it that’s what you can call that at the minute !
Obviously I don’t mean right now but in the near future xxx

Sorry for your loss. If i lived closer i would love to meet up but im to far away. Its awful this loneliness we all feel. Just need to talk to another human being . Hope your find someone near to you that can offer what your looking for , but if you need just to talk there’s always someone on here.

Same here. I would welcome meeting others, but I am 200 miles from Yorkshire. I was born near Leeds but live in Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire now.
