I recently lost my father on the 7th January it was sudden and due to misdiagnosis and medical neglect. His death was referred to the Coroner and approved for inquest. My worry is my Mother she is 70 years old not of the best health and suffers extreme social anxiety. Her life was me and my dad they had been together for 55 years since my mum was 16 years old. In recent years my dad was my mums carer as she is disabled. My question is do you recommend any medication to get her through the day? And any other tips I can help her in anyway would be appreciated. I’m an only child so do not have siblings to help me. I have already taken on the medical negligence and inquest. I have also been staying with her. But any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello @kendals190,
I’m so sorry to hear about your dad. You sound very caring.
Giving medical advice is against our community guidelines, so it would be against our rules for anyone to recommend a medication to you. You may want to help your mum to make an appointment with her GP who can then discuss options with her.
It sounds like you are coping with a lot. I hope you find the community to be a support to you. Keep reaching out and take good care,
Seaneen
