Missing Mum๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”

I still miss my Mum every day and missed her before she died as she had vascular dementia and stopped recognising me at least 2 years before she passed which was heartbreaking and I used to cry everytime I left her after visiting her in her nursing home :pensive::pensive:

Hello @JEM06,

Iโ€™m a part of the Online Community team, and I can see that you are new to the community - Iโ€™d like to thank you for bravely starting this thread and sharing how you are feeling. Iโ€™m so sorry to hear about Mum. Most community members have sadly experienced the death of a loved one and so will understand some of what you are going through.

Iโ€™m sure someone will be along to offer their support. In the meantime, you may wish to look at these Sue Ryder resources which might be helpful.

I really hope you find the community helpful and a good source of support and I also hope you feel you can access more support should you need it.

Thank you again for sharing โ€“ please keep reaching out and know that you are not alone.

Take care,

Naoise

Soo sorry for your loss. I lost my mum on 2nd july just 8 weeks after losing my dad on 26th April last year and miss them both so much but my mums death has hit me harder even though i was a daddyโ€™s girl. My mum was my best friend and i could talk to her about anything, i miss the chats and the phone and video calls we shared  it was sudden and unexpected with both of them and still feel as if itโ€™s all been a bad dream, i donโ€™t think i will ever get over the loss x
