If there is a reason why God only takes the good people of the world then I too would like to know why. I didn’t want my husband to die and be a flower in God’s garden, I wanted him here with me.

Groundhog day is a pretty good description of this new way of life we find ourselves in now. Today is the same as yesterday,is the same as tomorrow. Obviously nothing can put things right ever again.
Accepting it and managing this horrendous grief is the best we can expect. I guess time will eventually deaden the pain a bit but time won’t deaden the fact we miss our loved one so very very much and still love them with all our hearts.
I like to think there is an afterlife and will be with our loved ones again. I don’t knock religion,if it helps you in any way that’s great. Personally I don’t have a God but if I did I’d be ranting at him/her for taking my wife,he/she would definitely not be in my good books right now.
