Alan
Every day without you feels like something is missing.
I don’t hear your voice anymore, I don’t get to see your smile or hear your laugh.
And somehow, the world expects me to live like none of that matters. But it does.
The hardest part is knowing this isn’t temporary. This is forever, a forever I never wanted.
You changed my life in ways time will never erase.
So no, I can’t just move on because you were never replaceable.
I miss you more than words will ever say.
I love you, I always will.
I just wish you were still here beside me.
xx
Hi Alan. That is how I ,and, I imagine most of us on this site feel .
My partner Theresa passed away at the start of March this year, we were together 35years and it is so hard to come to terms with, going shopping, making meals, eating by myself is so hard . It is a very hard road we are on and will be a very long time before we ,if ever, move on. Take care
