I’m missing you a little more each time I hear your name.
I’ve cried so many tears, yet my heart’s broken just the same.
I miss our times together, things in common we could share,
But nothing fills the emptiness now you’re no longer here.
I’ve so many precious memories to last my whole life through,
Each one of them are reminders of how much I’m missing you.
They say there is a reason, they say that time will heal,
But neither time nor reason will change the way I feel.
For no one knows the heartache that lies behind my smile,
No one ever knows how many times I have broken down and cried.
I want to tell you something so there won’t be any doubt,
