I have been looking at my mother’s jewellery this morning, upset me, they were all tangled up took ages to detangle.
Sometimes the smallest things cause such pain. Im sure by untangling them youve achieved something small and meaningful
That’s very kind. It just upset me somehow.
Are you going to keep them ? I lost my mum in August 23 and majority of the flat there’s still memories. I still more or less in my room even though I’m on my own now in a 2 bedroom flat on my own. If they mean something to you, then you keep. I still have a lot of photos of mum in their frames on display.
Is it cos your mum wouldn’t of let them get tangled.? My mum wore quite chunky jewellery so this wasn’t a problem for me. Personally I’m a pluzzler so love a tangle to sort. Its strange what triggers emotions. Found a model kangroo i bought in a fete at about 8. Now no longer blue and missing it’s sparkles but mum kept it. have no place or space for it and its ugly but will keep it as it was obviously special to her.
