Lost my dad two months ago he was diagnosed with lung cancer and two and half weeks later he passed struggling to get my head round everything

Thank you for bravely reaching out. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad two months ago - it sounds like it’s been an incredibly difficult time for you. Your dad passed away incredibly soon after his diagnosis, and it’s completely understandable that you’re struggling to get your head round everything after such a shock.
Please know that you are not alone. I’m not sure if you’ve read through our Losing a parent category, but there you can connect with other members who are living with grief after losing a parent.

Hello LM. So sorry for the loss of your father. I lost my husband in March. I know how you feel. We’re left completely devastated when they pass, its just so hard to comprehend just what happened, I had him at home one moment and the next hes gone and im trying to figure out how to live the rest of my days alone..my 2 adult kids, are heartbroken 
, my daughter said she felt like a little girl needing her daddy….i hope you have friends and family around for support, and posting here will hopefully help you talk about your grief, there are many good people here that listen and are very supportive, take care and God bless you
