Lost my lass to cancer yesterday morning… i live in hampshire and she lived in london…came home today because i need to get my flat ready for her cat,who i will be looking after.got here done nothing…keep on breaking down .does this grief last forever ?
Hi Tilly the cat1 lost my wife to cancer after a 10 year fight after nearly 36 years of marriage i know exactly how your feeling it was 6 weeks ago and like you i am still raw the heart break and overwhelming emotion i am so sorry for your loss i chatted with my aunt yesterday she is 82 and lost my uncle 30 years ago she said you never forget but you learn to cope with it and function again as she has so it will hopefully get better for us and all the other people using this forum my strength comes from the fact she fought so hard to stay with me if i fold i will of let her down dig deep and honour your lady by working through it be kind to yourself its the hardest thing i have endured but seek support if you can from others my best wishes

Thanks Andy63…im so sorry for your loss… its heartbreaking… at least i got to tell her i loved her and she told me she loved me before she left…im hanging onto to that for dear life…
