To tell the story would tbh break my texting thumb. Lets just say my mum went through 4 months of torture to gain approx 7years. She was due to start immuno therapy on the 26th December. The 25th she felt crap and tested positive for covid. Mum never got therapy, instead she got 8 months of struggling to breath then a really hard death from bloody constipation due to meds and a ruptured bowel. Where in any world is that fair. I am so angry, why make her go through treatment to make her death so soon and painful!!!
I have went from caring from my ill mother to my suicidal father. May i add to nicer people you would ever meet. Fostered children and many strays along the way. Why!!! So cruel. I dont know how to get past the why ???

My mum battled cancer for 26 long years, her treatment was to operate every 12 months to remove cancer from inside her bladder and they did for 24 years, but she got on with it then she had to have a kidney stent fitted as a bit of cancer had found its way out of the bladder and into the tube travelling to kidney so they bypassed it using a stent and decided when first COVID lockdown hit they would give her 6 weeks chemo and radiotherapy, every day for 6 weeks we had to stop chemo after a week as her body was allergic to it so carried on with the intensive radiotherapy, it cured it but left her waterworks incontinent but she was clear for 2 years then it popped up in her lung, they operated to remove the bad part and was hopeful they got it all, I looked after her and got her back on her feet and was just seeing her smile again when he started suffering with her leg, for 3 months I had her to hosp, the doctors had exrays done all said could be arthritis basically put it down to her age 86 had her normal CT scan in may July she got prognosis terminal cancer 6-12 months she lasted another 3 and boy did she suffer I hated seeing her in so much pain she stopped eating and drinking very little and just gave up couldn’t fight it no longer.
