I have lost my husband 3 days ago after fighting a short battle with cancer
We have been together 25 years.
We have 4 kids and a grandson
I am destroyed completely
I knew he was really poorly but nothing prepare you for the overwhelming pain
I’m so lost guilty and angry

I am so very sorry for your loss. You are right, nothing prepares you for the pain. I am coming up to 18 months since my husband died and the sadness and emptiness is still overwhelming. Keep posting and reading messages on this site as you will feel supported and i find it helps to be able to identify with what others say about how they feel. X

I’m so sorry for your loss and that you now are feeling the pain that none of us could have imagined and none of us would wish on anyone. People on here will support and will understand- unfortunately we cannot take the pain away. Ask for support and take it where ever you can. We just have to learn to carry the grief but it’s not an easy journey. Sending hugs
