Next week will be a year since I lost my mum suddenly just after celebrating my 50th, I don’t think anyone realises the impact this has on you, I certainly didn’t when it has happened to friends. The shock of being taken into a side room when my dad and I went into the hospital to visit has given me some kind of PTSD and I have been in denial that she isn’t here for the full year! I know other people must feel the same but i’ve not been ready to be in contact with anyone in the same position until now. Hope we can all help each other keep moving forward
