No one can replace a loved one who is gone, especially during the holidays.
It’s an emptiness that doesn’t go away.

I totally agree with you, even though i have family close by i dearly miss my husband
Some of us don’t even have that, a trip to FB and help the aged will show so many people living in the UK with no one.

No not at all, it is what is! no point being offended or anything. Pointless! the day soon be gone and then we have boxing day.

Hence, my new normal is now to llive with those beautiful and precious memories we shared through out our years together, and I am content with that. The thought of him being next to me days and nights does help me to carry on these days. Love you so much my angel
