Obituary help

Hi I’m having trouble writing my part of the obituary that goes in the paper for my dad. I’ve got a few quotes in mind but I’ve got 4 adult children so want to write their names Emma and husband Tom etc or do I write Emma and Tom then the next couple? Also Emma is pregnant so this would have been my dads first great grand child - should I add this or is this too upsetting or emotional or not what would usually be done?

Morning ,
Hard task but wonder if you googled orbituary quotes would help.
I had the same problem with what to put on my Husbands plaque for the garden of remberence but took pieces from various quotes and managed to put all what I wanted.
Good Luck.

Have you tried to do a google search for ‘how to write an obituary for a newspaper?’
I just did, and it brought up lots of articles and examples.

Thank you for advice I’ve had a look and took a few ideas not sure how this looks? Anything seem wrong?
My beautiful dad, my World.
Your wings were ready
But my heart was not (and?)
If love could have saved you Dad
You would have lived forever
Although I’ll always miss you
I know you’re by my side
Love you always
Julie x and Brian x
And then I’ve put
Goodnight Grandad
We love you from
Emma x Richard x David x and Robert x

Head is so mushed don’t know if ok?
