Every year Rob and I would head to whitby and dance the nights away to northern soul & Motown music we absolutely loved the week end. After breakfast we would sit on the top near the whale bones on a bench and he would say to me this is what working is about getting these times away and this is our. “ special place” . Well this Friday I am going to whitby to dance the week end away and I will have Rob on my mind all week end and live the week end for him in his honour . RIP Rob I love and miss you more than words can say xx

I think you are brave to do it this year let alone last year. It will be 2 years since I lost my love soon and I still can’t face some things without him. x

It will be 2 years for me 1st December. I really hate the first of each month. It would be our 56th wedding anniversary on 17th this month. I’m dreading it but like all of us on here I have no doubt I will struggle through it with the help of my lovely family. Big hugs to you.

I just did the 60s weekend at Whitby in June, first time since my husband passed away 4 years ago. We went every year and took us back to our teenage years.
I went on my own, but I wasn’t on my own, Jimmy is still part of me. So I asked to join a table, met some lovely people and for the first time I could speak easily about Jimmy.
We loved music, it has been part of our lives from the day we met. We referred to it as weaving a musical tapestry. I continue to weave

Stargazer music is such a powerful thing it can take you back to so many memories can’t it.
Every track you hear had a different memory either with your loved one or even before you met them .
I hope Rob joins me this week end I’m sure he will because he wouldn’t miss out on a trip to whitby

Well I went to whitby as I said I would we had such a laugh we came back on the Sunday and by Monday yea time we had our tickets and accommodation booked for next year
