Online Memorial Wall

Hello, hope everyone is well and getting through.
Has anybody on here done this type of thing before?
It will be coming up to twelve months soon since my wife passed away and I want to do something for her but what to do I don’t know.
I’m not even sure of how I’ll be at the time as I’m not looking forward to it but while I feel motivated now it seems like the best time to do it.
Any help would be gratefully welcomed.
Thanks in advance.

I had a bench put down at the church where his resting place is. Had a plaque for him & also for our granddaughter who was born sleeping a year ago today.p, been a tough couple of years :broken_heart: I also sponsored the local junior football team & had his name on their football top. In the garden I had a rose, you can name a rose & it comes with a label with any photo you like & a certificate. They’re beautiful. Sending you love & strength

I purchased a yellow standard rose, it was Kath’s favourite colour, I planted it is a large pot last year and watched it grow, plus the roses it produces “It produces loads” I pick and put in the house so I can enjoy them and they remind me of the love we had and I still have.

My husband’s name is Peter and I have just found out that there is a beautiful red rose with his name. I am about to purchase said rose in his memory for his birthday in Match.

Thank you jodel, I had a plaque made a few months ago and put it in a place where we used to go.
It’s nice to go there for a bit of peace and a think.
I like the idea of a flower for her, we had a memorial garden but I’ve since moved and not got round to redoing it yet.
Thanks for your suggestions, they’re much appreciated, take care and have a good weekend.

Hi Craig, my Dad loved the sea and sailing, I had his name put on one of the lifeboats. For my partner Allan I did a fundraiser in his memory. I love reading these posts, benches sound very good, especially as you can go and sit with them. Now I’m thinking about a rose bush! All very best

My son bought me a rose called ‘Remembrance’ which is in our front garden. Our daughter is getting married in May and I have bought her a silver robin charm to tie onto her bouquet. We’re also going to get Alan a bench for the churchyard. I walk the dog through there everyday just to say ‘hello’.
