Is your pet the only company you have? My cat likes a cuddle. She is trying to nose her way under me trying to send this. Purring away. Fur baby. Chat to her and she is very vocal. Sits under my knitting. Watches me. Gets under my feet and licks my gravy up. Comes running in and even comes to my car to sniff what I have bought. She even follows me up the road.
Do you have a pet?
I have 4 dogs. Only 1 of them loved me. The other 3 were devoted to him. They are slowly coming around to me. They miss R. I can’t move for them. I have one that knows when I am going to cry. She is so sweet and tries to comfort me.
I have my elderly 13 year old collie cross but since Andy’s death, I realised I couldn’t possibly be without a dog if and when anything happens to her so I adopted a young male collie. He came home with us yesterday! He’s very loving and cuddly though will certainly keep me on my toes. My old girl is less than impressed!
Congratulations on your new arrival.
No pets as such, but I’m feeding two feral cats. They’ll come inside for food, but are a long way off being socialised. But they’re all I’ve got, so I chatter to them, and they look at me as if I’m a mad woman.
My Staffie turned 15 last week. I thought she was on her way out last December, then S died in February and after that she rallied. I’m sure she’s hanging on until Mum (me) gets her act together and feels a lot stronger. When she does go I will have a meltdown, but I plan to travel and realise that I will definitely need a Plan B. In the meantime I’m making the most of our time together. They give us so much.
I was watching dogs behaving badly in TV and amazed how they learn to behave. I need to know how to cope with cats behaving badly.
My cat is good then she oversteps the Mark. At the moment she is in the dog house or the cat house.
Keeps trying to knock things over.
So she has to go outside.
