Hi, I am planning to pay for my own funeral after paying an insurance policy which would not cover costs, I don’t have lots of money and don’t own a property, therefore looking for something that is affordable, yet dignified, any suggestions?
I bought mine through Age Concern a few years ago, It was a fair price then, but obviously prices have gone up since.

simplicity cremations, they are very affordable and very good. They also do funeral plans. I used them for my husband’s cremation and it was very good. Also affordable. Regards Margarita
I used Legal and General.
I found their plan paid out much more than similar companies. I pay just over £9 per month for £5000 worth of cover. A lot depends on your age. I am 69. Other companies quoted me over that amount for far less cover.
