Poem

If this is how
Life is without you here
Then all I can say is
I don’t want mine anymore.

If this is how
Life is without you here
Always being reminded
That you are no longer here.
Then I don’t want mine anymore.

The pain inside
Grips tight, relentlessly.
If grief come in waves
Then I’m drowning.
No fight left in me.
My life, I don’t want it anymore.

They say time is a healer
This cannot be true
For if this is life without you
Then I don’t want mine anymore.

I am in a horrible nightmare
The nightmare is real
It’s living without you
To end the nightmare
My life,
Because I don’t want it anymore.
