Anyone ready to chat

Hallo Jane456

I’m sorry your post wasn’t replied to, I thought you had just posted a poem and missed it.

You have probably been on here before, but please tell me what you would like to chat about, or is it that your were reaching out to see what came back? Whatever the reason I am most happy to talk with you on here.

best wishes

My wife died one year ago. Four days after her leaving the planet I wrote a poem/ song through many tears at 3 am . I recorded it and play it when I feel down. I also play it and sing on my key and amp when the mood takes me to be wanting to be near her. It’s called The Secret Garden.
It does help.

We’ve ended a journey, I’ve let go of your hand

To float upon a sea of calm, I know we understand

It’s the age of life that we are living in, we’ve had the chance to be

You joined me and shared some time, that will always be

And to answer the many questions that lie within my mind

I’ll imagine your secret garden and the answers I will find -

In the galaxy of your dreams in a cosmos set apart

In a cosmic whirl - pool you will rest your heart.

As we travelled along the road of life through every twist and turn

We didn’t miss the joy of living - didn’t miss the chance to learn

You did the things that made a difference, you gave that extra touch

Inspiring warm and caring those things they meant so much

And to answer the many questions that lie within my mind

I’ll visit your secret garden and I know that I will find.

In the galaxy of your dreams in a cosmos set apart

In a cosmic whirl-pool you will rest your heart.

You’ve ended your journey, I’ve let go of your hand

To float upon a sea of calm, I know we’ll understand

And to answer the many questions that lie within my mind

I’ll visit your secret garden and I know that I will find

And I’ll find the joy of living, love the Sun, sky and rain

Take time to make a difference and to let life blossom again

In the galaxy of your dreams in a cosmos set apart

In a cosmic whirl-pool you will rest your heart.

I won’t lose the joy of living, Love the sun, sky and rain

I’ll take time to make a difference, let life blossom again

And to answer the many questions that lie within my mind

I’ll join you in the secret garden and I know that I will find . . .

. . . Find my love.

Dear Pop

Those words are beautiful and I can quite see them as a song. I wish more people could see this because those words and the feelings are very true, and so hopeful to those who grieve. So thank you on behalf of the community. I wish you well, keep writing on here.

best wishes

Hello Mitch
It’s a long time since you posted that message to me I don’t look at this website very very often. Quite frankly it’s three years since my dear Laurette died. We’ve been together for 61 years and four days after she died in January 21. I wrote that song You could listen to it or watch it on YouTube there are other songs I’ve written for her since then you might find the song which was a poem. Interesting God bless and perhaps we will keep in touch. Best wishes John
