Practical things

I’m sure so many of us go through the extra problem of having to take on EVERYTHING practical which needs doing after losing our other halves.

I’ve had a mountain of it lately and the expense which comes with it.
The car needed an MOT, luckily that passed with just new tyres.
The ancient farm truck needed and MOT - sadly that didn’t pass and needs a large job to be done on it then a retest.
Yesterday, to top it all - expense wise and hassle - the freezer broke down. I love 12 miles from the nearest town so tend to have a lot in it. We have food all over the place deciding which can be cooked then refrozen safely, which we can eat over the next couple of days, which to give away.

In the middle of all that we had a lovely lady from the village here to talk to us about flowers for my daughter’s wedding in August which naturally had me in tears.

I hope that is my three major expenses for now.

Hi @KarenF,

Thank you so much for sharing this with the community :blue_heart: This sounds like so much for you to be managing at this time. I’m sure someone will be along to offer their support, but I just wanted to let you know that you have been heard and you are not alone.

Take good care,
Alex
