I moved back home in 2021 to help my mother care for my father with leukemia. We all were extremely close. In October of 2021 my father passed. Three week later, my brother, who was my best friend, passed away from a sudden cardiac arrest. As a result, his daughter (my niece) who was like a daughter to me turned to drugs as she could not bear the loss and she lost both of her children due to this. I remained close to the adopting family and that has been my grace in it all. Then two years later my mom developed cancer and just passed this past October. Two months later I developed ovarian cancer. In a five year period I lost everyone who meant the most to me, then I lost me. I just sold my parents house and moved hoping it would help with my grief. But nothing helps. Even though I had a full life, my parents, my brother, my niece, were my world. We did everything together. I can’t help but wait for the next bomb to drop.

Hello Lisam, im so sorry to hear everything you have been through, to lose your loved ones, and now facing your own health issues..do you have any other close relatives ??. Or friends to help you ..we all need help when we are grieving, sometimes its hard to even look after ourselves..I lost my husband of 35 years in March, and its been the most heartbreaking moment of my life..I lost part of myself that day. Posting here has helped me, im able to talk about my grief , and people understand, i hope you keep posting, hopefully someone can offer you much needed advice. Take care of yourself, I will be praying for you, May God bless you and keep you in his safe embrace. May he strengthen, comfort and guide you through these difficult times. God bless you ![]()
