Reaching out

Hi all, found myself feeling very lonely today having lost my fiance suddenly in may, we were due to be married in September, I sold my wedding dress yesterday & I felt so very sad, I have friends I can talk to, but they have their own lives to live and they can’t understand how I’m feeling, I thought that maybe doing this would help, to talk to people that have been through the same trauma, I don’t want to feel sad all the time anymore …weekends are the worst for me, we were always out and about, I miss that so much

Sorry for your sad loss. Selling your wedding dress must have been so hard for you, but how brave. Weekends are so hard everyone is out enjoying themselves what do we have to do, nothing meaningful i know that. Hope things get better and more bearable for all of us in time.

Thankyou for replying, it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I couldn’t bare to see it hanging in the wardrobe and longer, I had to cancel our honeymoon, get a refund and pay for his funeral with the money, it’s so unfair, I’m a strong woman and I am pushing through it, but it hits hard every minute of everyday, I took hope we can find some peace in the future
