Even though it breaks my heart, it’s a song I listen to every time I sit and look at our photos and remember how much love we had for one another and how many great adventures we had, so much fun and laughter.

28 years of a partnership full of love, trust and happiness xx

This song brings back such vivid memories and after Keef died, about 9 months ago, I dug out the sheet music I have for this and sat down at the piano to play and sing. Unfortunately the page got very blurry so I had to stop, too many tears.

I understand you @Guineapig65 , I managed to get back on the piano at least a year after I lost the love of my life. I still break down at times while hitting the notes of our favorite songs, because we used to play them together. Now, I play alone but imagine he’s beside me and I’m playing and singing for him. That’s a beautiful song that @Ali29 posted, one of mine dedicated to my husband is Celine Dion’s “Because you loved me”, it seems to tell the story of our lives together.
I think sad songs are a good therapy, on the whole they help us to release all that pain, tears which we hold inside us, otherwise we will explode like a pressure cooker that can’t let out it’s steam every now and then.

I’m not very “technologically able” hope this worked.

That really got me - the words say everything you can’t, and hearing this song about a life lived so generously and selflessly for another, brings tears. Thank you for sharing. Take care.
