Second anniversary

Just coming here to say that yes I’ve survived to the two year since she passed if both feels like a lifetime ago since I held her hand and kissed her face and yesterday. The big hole she left is still there there just other stuff fighting for that attention and space in my head and heart.

It feels like everyone’s forgotten and noone wants to say incase they offend or upset me but I miss her so this weekend I took my kids to the garden centre and picked up a few cheap colourful bedding plants and we planted them. My mum loved flowers and gardening and today on the two year anniversary of her passing I sat with a coffee looking at the birds on the bird feeder and the flowers missing her presence and burying the thoughts all day till the kids were in bed and now I’m sobbing like an idiot.

I cannot comprehend How can the world just forget she existed now she has passed as every fiber or me knows she is gone and miss her.

I miss her

I just wanted to send you a virtual hug @Mrsjgray92 :people_hugging: - Im at 2.5 years now, and I increasingly felt around the 2 year mark like I shouldnt share my grief with others any more - in fact most friends and family no longer even ask how I am. Its only in the support groups I attend that I know I can be truly honest about how Im doing. And posting here of course! I know everyone has different beliefs but im sure your Mum can see your flowers and feel the love behind them  Take care :people_hugging:
