I had every intention of spreading Janes ashes on her Mothers grave as they were separated at a very early age. I feel comfort having her ashes in the Bedroom on her dressing table I feel she’s somehow still here at home where she was so happy.
I am not sure what to do myself there is no right or wrong way just do what makes you feel comfortable.

I lost my wife 8 weeks ago yesterday, the last few days have been absolute pain,all the things that we all know about such as wanting our partner back,wishing we could wake up and they would be there,hearing her voice,laughter just everything is like a knife being jabbed into my body thousands of times.

Yes there are no right or wrong ways obly doing what we feel is best when you are ready and able to make the decision.
My husband’s wishes to be scattered at family home was in the will and he felt he belonged back where he was born. We visited Fiji a number of times during our 35 years married last time this year Feb 23.
I will revisit in the near future but not yet i want to spend our anniversary 28th Aug my birthday 3rd Oct and christmas and his birthday 27th April on my own with him one last time before he goes back to his birthplace. Take care everyone

It’s tough when their final wishes mean letting go of what you have left
I dunno tbh … honestly its a roller-coaster. Some days youre ok, others devastated still, orher days youre even slightly happy , you just cant predict it but i guess that sharpness of the pain youre feeling now gets less … i suppose its not as raw … just keep being kind to yourself , doing things that make you feel better xxx

There is one way to keep a piece of him with you. I had a small amount of Paul’s ashes made into glass and put in a ring. Ashes to Glass can make several items with our loved ones ashes very tastefully.

I have an inscribed bracelet with a small opening - I put some of her ashes and a bit of her hair in and sealed it.
Always wear it
