Is anyone free to talk ? I feel so sad all the time and wondered if anyone would be happy to chat about ptsd symptoms ? I know im not alone but it does feel like it sometimes. I lost my fiance to brain cancer and I felt so helpless whilst i cared for him and i was always so frightened of every day wondering what would happen to him and what if I couldnt help …. I still live in fear now. I just can’t move on from this.

Thank you Vicky, some days are a struggle. I was really feeling it last night . My dogs always look after me though

Dogs are great comfort, they sense when things are not right.

Dogs are amazing ! Everyone should be prescribed a dog for grief xx

What information do you have about ptsd please?
I am also very worried about this.

All I know is that I was running on fight flight for way too long and it’s taking its toll on my body physically and mentally.
For me , being in my early 40s , it also exacerbated my perimenopause symptoms which has been pretty nasty to say the least. For me , making sure I listen to gentle meditative music really helps and guided meditations on free apps that you can get . I have also taken up hobbies again , i paint and felt and do anything crafty to keep my mind from running wild. Eat well and try not to drink alcohol although I do have the odd glass of red ! Exercise is really good for you too but nothing too intense . What works for one may not work
For another so it’s worth doing your research on it and trying what you think might work for you . Xxx
