Has anyone reached out to a spiritualist or medium?
I keep thinking if only I could get a message from my man to tell me he’s OK & is still here with me, I would cope better. Right now I am not coping & am just existing & this can’t go on.
My family call them grief vampires & my man would say the same, but I can’t stop thinking about this.

Hi I have visited a few mediums some good some bad if you can find someone who is recommended by friends then why no give it a try if it’s not for you all you have lost is a bit of money and an hour of your time if you never try it you will never know

Hi Maigret, . I now go to a spiritualist church and what a help it has been . Please find a one in your area. Hope it will be as good as mine .

Maigret I’m thinking the very same thing . It’s been in my mind a lot lately , think I’m looking for a crumb of comfort ? I’m worried about wasting my money though and being duped . Be interested to hear if anyone’s had any positive experiences

Hi I have been to a medium he told me about things he would never have know about he told me my sons name and that he had passed also my wife and my mother and father I only acknowledge with a yes or no also other things I’m no prepared to mention on here I found it very helpful if you find a good one hope it helps

Thanks for the replies, I agree it is a sign of desperation but I will be hard to convince if I do go to speak to someone. They would need to tell me more than they can find on my fb pages.
I don’t care how much it costs (within reason) I can spend as much money on plants for the garden. I just need to know he knows I was with him, holding his hand as he died and how much he is loved and missed every minute of every day.
Maybe it will find me peace.

I recently went to a clairvoyant evening, she picked me out of a room and the message where to precise to make up and gave me huge relief. I would only go through a recommendation.

The spiritualist church is by far the way forward . They dont want money, they only want to help . My Gaz was standing behind me. They know zero about anything. Only what comes through . Save yourselves money and go every week to listen to genuine people. Believe me you wont be disappointed. They are saving my life . Open mindedness and have faith . Full stop. Xxx lesley

Hi my husbands niece is very spiritual, I had a visit from my husband he passed away 8 months ago I heard someone call my name and also felt weight on the bed so I woke up to see my husband looking at me I told him I love him and he then disappeared, I spoke to his niece and she said that she would check it out for me I just wanted to know if was OK and she confirmed that he was OK and with his family, she said that he would like to come and see me sometimes if I’m OK with that I told her that’s fine as I’m not scared, my dad has also visited me he passed away in 2010.

My wife visited a medium around 1997/8 with some friends, and in those days I was very sceptical of the whole thing. I told her to take it all with a pinch of salt, hoping that she wouldn`t be upset by anything that she might be told.
As it turns out, the medium made specific comments to her on two subjects he could not have possibly known about, and that was when I changed from a sceptic to a believer. My wife and I had some subsequent events over the years which convinced both of us that there is something beyond this earth. As others have mentioned though, there will be good mediums and not so good ones, so by recommendation is probably the best way to go.
My wife passed in mid-July 2020 and within two weeks I knew I wanted to visit a medium at some point, but I didn’t want to do it too soon. By chance, my wife’s best friend had visited one recently with her adult daughter, and she thought the medium was very good. Oddly, I had been thinking about this again these last couple of weeks, and I might see if I can organise a session in the next few weeks, just in case Boris J Esq decides he might like to lock the entire country up again before the end of the year.

Hi Maigret, I would also suggest you attend a spiritual church, they have regular meetings with mediums and usually collect donations rather than paying for an individual reading - sadly, there are a lot of people claiming to be mediums out there just for the money. I had a fantastic message from my late mum at our local spiritual church from a well recommended medium, on the other hand I’ve had numerous messages of all pretty much the same information ie: nothing meaningful or personal .

Thanks flor all replies, I think I will look at a local spiritualist Church, they meet twice weekly. I just need something, I feel as ieverything is just slipping away & this big black hole is just consuming me. Day 5 in bed, nothing to get up for.
The only contact I’ve had is one phone call (many texts though).
Nobody loves me like my man did, no-one cares like he did.

Please try and get up and out of bed Maigret, try and think of something that you need to do, set an alarm for it so it reminds you.
I know it’s really difficult sometimes and we think there’s no point but staying in bed is also pointless and ultimately I’d imagine will do you no favours.
You could use the finding of a church as a reason to get up.

I lost the love of my life of 41 years. Like you I just wanted to know he was ok, so I saw a clairvoyant & did get some peace from the reading. I also saw another one & again I was comforted by it. What have you got to loose? Go for it I say
