Smells

So the other day I needed some lenor so just quickly grabbed the blue lenor, in a mad hurry to get away from people, when I got home, I
Opened the lid to smell it and was immediately hit in the face by the smell of my mick, I had totally forgot he used the blue lenor!! I took long deep smells before crying hysterically at how much I miss that smell on his clothes :cry::cry: sounds absolutely ridiculous in my head but that one smell brought back a thousand feelings, memories, what I’ve lost, had I remembered he used that one I’d never of bought it, perhaps I should be happy the smell reminds me of him but I’m not happy at all!! These little things hit us in the face like a shovel out of no where :cry:

It’s so hard when we come across something like this and we are not prepared.
In time it may be a comfort to you but for now just ride the storm and try find some good memories that can keep you grounded.

Hope you get some rest tonight xx

Hi @Ang5
As @roni52 says, the familiar smell may become a comfort. I often spray my husband’s deodorant in the bathroom and oh, how I breathe that aroma in. It’s my man. :revolving_hearts:
