Sobbing at night. Like now...

Hey my dad passed in September last year

I can’t stop sobbing myself to sleep every night lol.

Is this ‘normal’…

Anyone know?

Thanks

Sadly this is grief.
Have you people you can talk to and share your thoughts and feelings?
Reach out to those you are close to if you feel you can. And keep posting on here.
There is no right or wrong in grief, but if you feel like you are really struggling then maybe chat to your GP - they could
Offer some support and help.

Hello rubberquacks
Yes it is normal what your feeling
Grief can make you feel what you’re feeling and unfortunately it can give you mixed emotions. It’s how you deal with it
I lost my mum nearly 8 years ago and life hasn’t been the same for me ever since.
The most important thing I found is to look after myself get plenty of sleep and find support. Take your time when you grieve
Take care

Hi yes it is normal , there is no right or wrong to grief. I am 18 months into this grief . I have a life I didn’t choose and there are days I miss him so much that I cry all day but I have a job family and a routine that keeps me grounded. There are very few who know I cry I put in a brave face and carry on. Opening up to people is half the battle . Talk to the person you’ve lost describe how you feel. Time does heal- never goes , grief is lifelong but you learn to live with it this new in chosen life. Sending hugs .
