I just can’t/won’t believe he’s no longer here. I saw him dead in the hospital, again in the Chapel of Rest, arranged his funeral. I have his ashes by the side of my chair but I just can’t accept he’s gone. It’s been just over three months.

Of course he’s not gone. He’s firmly fixed in your heart. I am in my third year and still feel my husbands presence all around me. He is with me in another form but still around. Just believe and look for the signs.

I see my husband in our children, especially our son. The things he does and says and the way he looks, he’s getting more like his dad everyday.
I also feel Doug all round me, especially in the garden where I am sitting now, he has been gone 14 months but sometimes it just feels like yesterday. @Pattidot is right he will always be in your heart.
