Still think he's here

Coping with bereavement

I lost my dad 2years ago, and I still think he’s going to walk in the door, am I wrong for this or does anyone else know how I feel.

Hi Alison there is absolutely nothing wrong with this and I think it is a natural part of the grieving process. I lost my beautiful son last November and think the same every day or that he will phone me and say hi mum it’s me, but then reality kicks in.
It’s because you loved your dad so much and wish more than anything he was still here x

Every day at 4pm I still expect my partner to txt and say on train or ring the bell to come in.Still stabd by window to see if coming round the corner
