My son had just turned 31 he lived alone and he had epilepsy.3 weeks ago in a family group chat I noticed that he wasn’t responding so me and my husband went round to check on him where we found him dead in bed. We are still waiting for his official cause of death that could take a couple more months but we think he had a seizure and sufocated on his pillow. His funeral was 2 days ago and I’m really struggling to come to terms with the fact that this has happened.i almost feel like it’s not real

Hi Shelly, I am so sorry for the loss of your son, my heart goes out to you.I am in a similar position to you, my son’s funeral was two weeks ago. This site is very helpful and comforting. There is a thread called “loss of our son 27” which lots of lovely people write on who have lost a child. You will hopefully find comfort from their words as some are further down this painful road we find ourselves on. Take care, sending hugs x
