I actually hate stupid people with stupid insensitive questions

I was asked last night “Why are you sad? Shouldn’t you be over the loss of your brother by now?”

No, no I shouldn’t. It’s not even been 1.5yrs yet. This is my second Christmas without him.

Why do people feel the need to expect you to be okay?

it hasnt happened to them so they havent a clue. i told told by someone in my church a month after mine died “well lots of peoples husbands die, thats part of life” mine is 20 months tomorrow and this is my second xmas. i havent got over it but i am used to it now. xx
