Hello Julia34,
I’m really sorry for you loss. You have come to the right place for support. Only people who have lost their partner can fully appreciate the pain and turmoil you’re going through. I lost my brilliant wife, soulmate and best friend, six and a half months ago. I know how much it hurts. The usual advice is to try and get by minute by minute, hour by hour and day by day. Try to look after yourself as best you can.
I didn’t think I could survive the heartache, but somehow I’m still here.
By all accounts it’s a long road ahead for us all, but we have to try and hang in there as best we can. I hope you have some support around you in these early, most shocking days. I have found this online forum very supportive and full of good advice.
Sending you my best wishes and please look after yourself,

Hi julie
Sorry for your loss
I lost my wife on 5th september .its very hard i know everyone tells me it will get easier but i dont know when thats going to be
I guess it does take time
I keep talking to her all the time and sometimes get answers in my head probably just my memories of her voice and imagination
I find that helps alot , i wonder if you do the same ?
Keep looking after yourself

Thank you for your advice, so sorry about your wife. Well done for carrying on.

Hi Nigel, no I don’t hear him talking but sometimes I think I can hear him breathing. This pain is unbearable. Sorry about your wife, it’s very early days for us Nigel. But it’s so so difficult I feel I’m slowly dying to be honest

Thank you. I’m devastated dosent seem to be getting any easier.
