My sister died suddenly 5 weeks ago, I took on the role of organiser to take that pressure away from my elderly mam. She left an adult son who has some difficulties and I feel I have not had an opportunity to even sit down and think about my lovely little sister for trying to support everyone else. I hate leaving my mam alone and have not yet returned to work. I just can’t see what my new normal will look like

I am so sorry about your sister, @Debmat. You are not alone - sadly, many of our members have lost a sibling and will understand some of what you’re going through.
I’m just giving your thread a gentle, “bump” - I’m sure someone will be along to offer their support

Such a sad situation when you lose a sister. I feel that I feel that I have lost both my sisters. My older sister died 1 month ago and my younger sister suffered a ruptured aneurism 7 years ago which has left her severely disabled. We also lost our Mum 3 months ago.

So sad. I am having such a hard time navigating the way through process. Now the funeral is over and the formalities are taken care of I am lost as to what to do day today x
