I had been talking to my friend in the US online for a year. Including video and phone calls. We were hoping to meet soon. I heard he was found dead just before Christmas. Still waiting for investigations into what caused his death. Likely to be drugs involved. We talked daily and I am shocked and heartbroken. I feel very alone as I didn’t know his family although his brother has been in touch.
Hello @MissK37 ,
I’m part of the Online Community team and I can see that you are new to the community - I’d like to thank you for bravely starting this thread and sharing how you are feeling in shock and heartbroken. I’m so sorry to hear about your friend, this must be so difficult for you right now not knowing those who loved them and feeling very alone. Most community members have sadly experienced the death of a loved one and so will understand some of what you are going through.
I’m sure someone will be along to offer their support, but I wanted to share a few Sue Ryder resources with you that might be helpful.
