I just lit this candle for my adored and greatly missed husband.
It is 30 weeks today and still I find it unbelievable that he is gone.
He will always be the love of my life.

26weeks
Been ghastly this week.
Thank you rose x
Thank you Rose. So much appreciated. xx
I light a candle every night for my husband who died two months ago. I find it unbelievable too that he is gone and I will never see him again. Nothing ever prepares you for this - I have never known such sadness, heartache and despair.
Hi @jaffabox
You’ve done the right thing posting on here.
We all understand,
We’re all going through it.
All at different stages.
You are not alone
We’re all here for you
Sending love and a big hug

Thank you so much Rose for your kindness.
23 weeks for me today since I lost the love of my life so suddenly.
Sometimes it seems like yesterday and yet at other times it feels like a lifetime away.
Sending a big hug xx
I love lightning a candle.
It a good thing to watch and think.
Your pain at 2 months must be so raw.
We all get it . We don’t just sympathise- we totally empathise.
Sending love and hugs xxx
Thank you Rose. Thinking of everyone this horrible rainy Sunday evening, let’s hope we find some good things in the week ahead xx
Such lovely comments on here - it means a lot when life is so tough. As well as the feelings of sadness and despair that I have, I do feel very vulnerable now. My husband was my best friend and companion. He always had my back and I had his. Any of the daily problems that life throws at you would be chatted through. Yes we had arguments sometimes but we had lots of laughs and lots of fun and adventures together. Life will never be the same now.
Sending big hugs to you @jaffabox
My husband left us 9 weeks ago, if you have watched Coronation Street with the Billy and Paul storyline, that is what we have gone through with my husband and his motor neurone disease and the story started on Coronation Street just after my hubby was diagnosed and Paul was taken to hospital with breathing problems, that is what happened to my husband as he struggled to breathe with pneumonia and was readmitted to hospital and died two weeks later.
It was July the 2nd for me. Thanks for the candle😘 I miss my partner sooo much too xxx
So very sorry.
Sending a very big hug xx
I hope it brings some comfort.
This is such a traumatic time.
Sending a very big hug
