After two years of crippling pain following the death of both my precious parents I would like to share some happy news. I have found out this week my husband and I are going to be grandparents for the first time. I cannot tell you the hope and joy it has brought me and filled my heart with so much love again. Hang in there everyone

Of course I am in no way trying to minimise the pain you experienced and continue to feel over the loss of both your parents. I’m also in this club and some days the tears just come. Other days the laughter is easier. I’m sure you will see both your parents in your new grandchild - they never really leave us x
