I lost my partner just over 5 months ago. We were together for 28 years. I miss him so much. Everywhere I go and everything I do reminds me of him in some way.
I think I am starting to accept that my life is changed forever and I try to find things that help me to feel connected to others and also to feel happy in my own company. But I still can’t believe he has died and wish with all my heart that I could be with him.
I think we will always feel this way because this is how our love continues. Hopefully time will help us to find a new routine and purpose that helps us to cope.
